Title: Trout fishing permits
Post by: burnie on February 16, 2023, 10:48:16 AM
On my way to the Argaty farm yesterday to take the grandsons to see the Red Kites we passed by the river Earn near Forteviot and it reminded me of a days fishing I had many moons ago, I bought a day ticket from Mallochs in Perth, long since closed, does anyone know where a ticket might be got now?

You could have called into Braco for coffee and biccies !

Dupplin Estate have the Forteviot stretch going east downstream from about the bridge on the sideroad south off the A9 near the top of the long hill. Fishpall had it listed but not very clear about payment.

The side road I mean is not the road to Dunning, further west, but is a wee road that goes directly down a steep hill towards Forteviot on the other side of the river.
