I've an excuse, I have zero interest in football, male or female :)
Me neither, but it is a religion for plenty folk !
Women's football is just so dull........... ;)
Womens rugby is far more interesting than the mens, they try to run with the ball, go round folk rather than try to go over them, some very skilful players, no idea about soccer, don't follow it.
The women's 7 a side tournaments have some really great games.
I do not watch football, but my mates assure me the standard is very poor (national teams getting scooshed by male schoolboy teams, etc). This aligns with my experience of womens rugby and cricket. Total pish.
It's like women's tennis, half the speed, half the games, twice as dull - all for the same money as the hard working male players. They need a few trans women in there to liven things up a bit. ;D
Women's sport has some advantages :o ;D https://youtube.com/shorts/EiHOJ7sbI8k?feature=share
I've watched the odd clip of supposed wonder goals from the women's games. They all have one thing in common. Awful goalkeeping. It's hardly a wondergoal when you shoot high and the goalkeeper is so small they actually can't physically jump high enough to reach the crossbar. Reminds me of when I used to play five a sides, and our goalkeeper was so stoned he would dive in slow motion about ten seconds after the ball had hit the back of the net ;D
