Title: Cod fishing this winter
Post by: burnie on October 29, 2023, 03:35:05 PM
Going to be limited to harbours when I can get on them, Arbroath is currently swamped with waves at the moment, top of the tide had huge waves coming over the walls, as bad as I have ever seen it, should be good for Tuesday hopefully.

I saw some photos of that. The waves were about 30 feet over the cages.

I went to fish the end of the wall one night, thought I'd get a bit of shelter from the wind, when I'd had enough and packed up to go home,, I couldn't walk down the wall as so much water was coming over, had to wait till the tide went out for a bit and then leg it. Not quite so quick on my feet now so I'll wait for a day or so now.
