Even more efficient than me in turning mussels into fat. I was going to say it was a toothy problem....

No matter how many times you try to educate some people they just keep doing the same thing again and again...

I liked the "I thought it was a dead whale so I threw a stone at it."
Is that what science has brought us to- see a deid thing and throw stones at it- not gone much past the opening sequence of "2001" then!
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

I believe that Walrus was hunted in the Orkneys in Roman times (that Roman lad who documented his visit to Britian said so).  I've also read that the vikings followed the decreasing population of walrus across the Atlantic to Greenland and American as they hunted it for food.  It's about time they made a come back :D

At first I thought it was a dead whale so I threw a stone at it and it woke up.
That made me laugh.  For what purpose?  Was the stone magical?  Was the warden just bored and looking for something to do?

Well the walrus was in  The Magical Mystery Tour

Lots of warlrus sun themselves here in the London parks, but not  at this time of year.  :D
