It was a repeat, but superb nonetheless.

If you missed it try to catch it on iPlayer. We don't get a lot of Scottish wildlife stuff,  this is up there with the best and something any highland  wild fisher or hill man  will be able to relate to

shad

Cheers for the headsup Fred, superb and what makes the BBC great.

Only flaw was the mourning of the demise of salmon  and sea trout in loch Maree and body swerving mentioning  the cause. That was pathetic and gutleess

Of course last time the BBC did that back in 2001 they were slaughtered by Scottish politicians and their fish farmer pals for their trouble. Back then the Labouring  /  Lib Dumb Scottish Executive coalition were no more willing to bring these environmental vandals to book than are the current SNP shower.

Don't let that spoil an otherwise first class programme though.

Hill loch gold

I'll watch it on the laptop later. Thanks for that fred  :D

River Chatter

Cheers Fred, downloading to my iPad as we speak.  Will watch it at work this week!

A stunning loch that I've never fished, have to fix that. Lots of good looking hill lochs on the map around there too. Thanks for the heads up ! Sb
