Will they let you leave it there though?
Then you only have to go through the lock once on arrival and once on departure.
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

That's my intensions anyway ken going to take it from oich into lochy and  pull it up infringe of lodges at night as this is were I'm staying basically base camp

OK, got you, your lodge (Glengarry Lodge) is not in the Great Glen Water Park but two miles south. It's not in Glengarry either!
That was what was confusing me, as the Water Park is on Lolch Oich.
But if you can pull the boat up in front of Glengarry Lodge, can you not launch from there rather than Oich?

Aye it is, but that is on Loch Oich. The lodge Mario has rented is on Loch Lochy and there is about a mile of canal, swing bridge and lock to negociate before you get from the slipway to Loch Lochy.

Perfectly correct ken,so my plan looks doable????can't see any problem navigating canal system as ive payed my  money same as big boats

Inchlaggan

Should be doable.
Your boat should get under the swing bridge without it having to open, unless there are regulations against.
Opening the lock at Laggan will not inconvenience anyone, so I can't see why they would not let you through.

I had a quick look at other forums. One talks of launching from a car recovery place but that was a couple of years ago and it seems they are not user friendly. There is also a phone no for boat hire, Tel: 01397 712 257. They might have a launch facility or they brought the boats through the system.

The good news seems to be no permit required, if you can get on.
