As I said Mario, you would think it would be easy but its stitched up. The guy who hires the boats can be ok on a good day if he likes the look of you
Plan sounds good, if just going through for the day it wouldnt be worth it but if there for a few days it will be good, my pal from Glasgow has stayed in those lodges and enjoyed it, plenty of places to pull the boat up for the night  :)

Surprising how coins of the realm seem to work.

I think he has had trouble in the past with people turning up to launch boats.

Took a trip to the lodges this morning, and very nice they look too.
Nae much of a beach though!
There is a narrow gap down to the shore beside the water treatment plant with tyre tracks into the loch.
I reckon a driver and a couple of guys could get a boat in there, though you'd probably need a winch for recovery.
I did not go on to the boatyard at the lock but there is a slipway clearly visible.
I did not have the camera with me but I can return with it if you wish.
'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."

Would the fish farm at the south west corner allow you to launch?
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.
