I fancy something along these lines with my grandkids, I'd love to be able to paddle a canoe or row a boat to an island and camp over night. Fishing would be a small part for the kids I think. I've got my eye on a water,just need to suss out permission to do it, no rush as the youngest is only two.

Yes sorry to hear, at least camping and fishing is cheap, if it was the middle of winter it would be even worse.
