Pentland Ferries for me every time

Do you have to take your own outboard?

Another vote for Pentland ferries here.  Hopefully they'll do well out of this - given they're the local operator (and far cheaper, despite not getting the subsidy that the other lot get).

I was looking to fly up there in June for a long weekend - £250 quid for flights (Fly-mayBe monopoly) put me off though, and given a 6 hour drive and a couple more on the boat each way, I've had to look into alternatives.  Shame.

Pentland for me too. Going up the last week in May with the kids and grandkids and thankfully we have booked the ferry both ways so should be ok. Looking forward to it, fishing is usually second to none so I hope the weather treats us kindly.
