Hi guys going to loch lochy next week for 5 days with the boat,any you guys fished it recently,how did you get on ,oh and any tips appreciated,never fished it before so heres hoping :crap

Big loch, not much fly life on the surface, a few sheltered bays that are worth a cast, as are the burn mouths.
Other than that you will need to be trolling to bend a rod.
Not as deep as you might think, but there is one deep channel in front of a hotel that is worth using the downrigger on.
I rarely fish it, last time a silver toby produced a 3lb fish.
Rumours this season of a few 8lb+ fish already, nice pike to 20lb+ if you fancy towing a mackerel flapper.
