What`s the best sinkant that you can apply to a winged wet fly to help reduce it skating on the surface on a River? I already use a Fullers earth mix on the leader and trim the hackles a wee bit to help it sink.

Get your mouth full of it and put the fly in until it is saturated.  Either that or just stick it in the water and squeeze it a few times.

I use the older Permasink on occasion but I guess that is just "up market" Fullers earth & glycerin.
