Only now grasping  how the new storm names work. Used to have female names but now, within a short time since birth and prior to landfall, there can be a sense of having been named for the wrong sex and so a spot of gender reassignment is required. Luckily this is now available through an agreement between the NHS and the Met Office. There was a Helene yesterday but Ali will join us tomorrow.

Cows on the wing😁
Looks like our flight home got out of Glasgow okay albeit a bit late. I hope the wind drops before we land😨
Protect the edge.

A wee bit surprised that it was not on the TV news this evening, but all of our runner bean pyramids are on the deck

The geese were flying either very fast or very slow this evening. The half blind dummies I had out still missed....
