A bit of water

Well this spring has been appalling really, but over this way at least the past 24 hours have delivered some much needed water. Even the local  river has risen by about 10 inches which is good. What is even better though is it should delay the farmers sucking the water table dry and this really was imminent after such a cold dry spring.

All we need now is a little bit of global warming to kick things off.   :8)

Been a bit of water & snow over my way as well.
The rivers & lochs were badly needing it.

Certainly needed Alan. Apparently more rain at the weekend followed by less cold weather next week.

A lot of fresh snow on the hills here, and some quite low.

PS. And since I posted the above we are now having a very heavy hail storm :(

The Angus Glens are white to quite low levels.

I was at Loch Treig on Friday and it was a lot lower than expected for this time of year. The dam end only really fishes well when filled to the brim.

Often some good driftwood to be found around the dam.  :D :D
