First impressions - looks and feels lovely, very different from my old 1960s and 70s glass rods.

Not an easy rod to find, but Neil Anderson at Angus Angling got me one in 2 days. Thanks Neil, great service as usual.

Pretty sure Fred by the end of the season it will be snuggling up beside the other 40 odd rods and reels.   :D :D

Will be interesting to hear your views /report after your first day out ...is it a fast action rod

Wildfisher

I tried it out in the park. Very nice, but won't know until I fish with it tomorrow

Hope not Colin. I'm £260 lighter after that purchase.

I've still got at least one of my old 1970's glass fibre fly rods somewhere and a load of cane ones as well, my Dad had some of the coarse fishing rods for pea sticks in the garden I think.

I still have 2 old Milbro TrueFly glass rods and another I built myself. Heavy rods.
