There is no doubt that drones allow photographs that were just  not possible before unless you had a helicopter. Even this simple photo has much more impact by just getting up off the ground even though it was not high.

That said you can't get the long exposure "fine art" style image but on a calm day like this it's not really a big issue.

These DJI drones do profile a remarkably stable and level platform even in quite turbulent conditions. Remarkable quality for a simple screen grab from an 1080 HD video. The one inch sensor is 20 MPX so I really must start shooting more RAW stills with it.
