This is what the rain did to the rivers around here. A six mile walk into the hills that nearly killed me, not literally, which is the first I have done since August last year :) Not bad for nearly 72 :) Only carried two small cameras though Fred :)

Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

Nice video Sandy. Lots of water in the west now it seems!

Another night of torrential rain last night. Woke up and thought someone was sand blasting the caravan it was that heavy :)

Just had light showers here which is frustrating as even well established trees have died in our garden because of lack of water.

I just had a stroll down to The Lunan - crystal clear and no  noticeable rise. SEPA shows about an inch way down stream of here

Went a wee wander along the river at 3pm, some difference from yesterday, and more forecast the next few days.

It's gey weet ower here in Angus right now. Hopefully we will get a good spate to flush the river out.  ;)

There has been enough rain on Lewis to keep the dust down for a couple of days.

Managed to get a dozen troots before the deluge set in in the late afternoon. Roads completely awash in places on the way home. A steady abandonment of drainage maintenance on public roads over the last decade.
