Call me a cynic, but the SMC has to find ways of selling more books. These hills are no longer Munros - the are now Broons and McNeishes. Fecking Prima Donnas!   ;D

Part of the charm of the real Munros was the human discrepancies. What we have now is a filtered, homogenised list of names with no charm.  Meddling bastards have no respect for good old Scottish tradition.  >:(   ;D

High time it was decimalised, all summits over 1000m, bugger separation and all that clap trap.

Would be worth it to have the Daily Mail readers foaming at the mouth about buying food by the groat or some other drivel.  :o ;D

Out in the tube this morning on a loch near Aberfeldy. Had six with four decent ones. Sitting in the car now at 2.30 having a bite to eat. Rain settling in in the last 15 minutes. Time to head home.

The next 3 days look horrendous. I think that's the trout season over.  :)
