Absolutely love the physical geology of Greenland. I flew over en route to western Canada and it is truly spectacular.

Never really fancied Iceland and Greenland, the fishing is good but the weather absolutely sucks. They are permanently on the vile side of the jet stream. The western isles on steroids, cowering behind rocks  for shelter on midsummers day ;D    I'm also guessing  Greenland is no stranger to ravenous polar bears.  :o

Nah, give me the Mataura in February any day,  8)
