Orkney to leave Scotland and be part of Norway?

I don't blame them. The Edinburgh government treats the northern isles with utter contempt. If this goes ahead Shetland would surely follow and that would be the final hammer blow to the fantasy of Scottish independence.

That will soon stop when they realise what the alcohol, food and fuel pricing policies are!

Unless things have changed they will also have to learn Norwegian. I almost moved there  in the 70s and back then you had to learn the lingo. Fair enough I suppose and certainly a better choice than France at the moment.
