Taylor is a hoot especially now with his giant lapel paperclip. Goodness knows why he started that.

It seems lithium ion batteries self-combust with frightening regularity.  Makes you wonder if you should be keeping your phone outside.  :o

Anything with a rechargeable battery!   :o

Cheap batteries and diy ebike kits seem to be the worst offenders. Good kit should be OK.

A ferry operator in Norway has banned all non fossil fuel vehicles from their ferries after the one in the Aegean? went on fire and sank because they couldn't bring the fires under control because of the electric vehicles that were onboard.
Don't worry, be happy.

Last year a car transporter ship sank off the Azores with 4000 luxury cars on board. That was due to an electric car catching fire. More recently a ship with 3000 cars from Germany caught fire but now under control. What remains of the 3000 is not yet reported.

There was a really interesting article in The Herald (jointly written by The Herald and The Ferret) on this subject and the concerns of Scottish ferry operators and maritime unions:

Sadly my 7' 5 weight that killed fascists is deceased!
