I noticed oor Fred is bidding on it, there are also some cheap and expensive copies on Amazon UK.
I won,t bid against you Fred.

Davy.

I have reached my limit anyway. The guy who is bidding must want it a lot more than me. :D

I read this a few years back (probably about 15 years back now). It's a great wee book. Rather high bids now, though.

I came across this. I know a lot of people talk about his books although I have never read any. Somebody might be looking for it.

I bought a copy of this book on Amazon this week. ?14. I am very glad I did not pay any more than that for it.  For those who have not read it, it is basically a rock by rock account of the river Truim from its confluence with the Spey upwards. I think if you knew the river it would be really  interesting but honestly  I gave up on it ? the way though, it was meaningless to me and I found my attention wandering.  I'll hold on to it though and perhaps pick it up again if I ever fish the river as it might be more meaningful then. I basically get exactly the same feeling when I read Jon Beer's writings, total disconnection. One man's meat etc – others I know really like it and it would be a dull world  if we all liked the same things. Don’t let that put you off – you may well love it!
