I've been swithering about buying a Grey's Missionary 10'3" 4/5 rod.  Its apparently designed for specialist spider fishing on rivers but I like the idea of a light line rod with a bit of length for loch troots.

Anyone used one or know of any other long and light rods (all the 11 footers on the market these days seem to be #7)...

Dighty, the Snowbee Zr2  #3-4 is not bad, only 3 pc though. It's a lot less expensive than the Greys.

Thanks - 3 piece doesn't bother me - couldn't see it in the online shop, do you know what it sells for and if there's a lifetime guarantee?

It's a new model, so it's not in the shop yet.  Retails  at ?119 as I remember. I am waiting on some coming in right now, PM me for details if you are interested. Usual   Snowbee lifetime warranty deal.

Bought a greys streamflex 10 ft 5 weight about 3 weeks ago .   Havn,t used another  rod since .Fished every thing from spiders to weighted nymphs on the Tweed and the has handled them no problem,At a penny off ?200 I would say that it well worth the money.
