Thanks Arawa. I had a search on Google for this and think it's maybe a bit bulky for what I am looking for.
If I couldn't get enough movement while fishing from the dinghy then I would probably take it off and that would defeat the purpose.

No problem. They are serious bits of kit that I used when cruising the West Coast.
I use a pair of inexpensive ones which are a bit less bulky and are less than £40 each.
