We have SANA here looking after our interests...

An organisation who wants to introduce rod licenses and use some of that revenue to fund competition angling. Wow.

A huge difference here is the total lack of public water makes it next to impossible to change how fisheries are managed. The ownership patterns and laws are centuries old and impossible to change.

Another strict aspect of their management has been some hatchery work with very careful catchment segregation of stock.
