Title: A legend leaves us

Just heard on the news the wonderful Bernard Cribbins has passed away. Singer, actor, fly fisherman. He was the very  best of British!

A really good commentator and enthusiast. A bit like "Mr Crabtree" 😊

He was one of a kind. He was brilliant as Wilf in Dr Who back in the David Tennant days before it was destroyed by wokery and far left identity politics. Such a shame!

His songs remind me so much of my childhood

Loved BC's voiceover on The Wombles but without doubt my most favourite BC role was as Midshipman Albert Poop-Decker in Carry on Jack [best Carry On character name after Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond played by Sid James in Carry on up the Khyber]

Better still was his TV fishing series with Martin Bowler 'Catching the impossible' which a quick google search suggests is available on Amazon Prime
