My printer works fine with XP, Vista and W7 and all the software I have that I run on the XP machine is working fine on both laptops, one Vista and the other W7, some of it even updated itself to 64 bit so it uses all of the 6GB of memory on the W7 laptop

I ran the XP machine for months with automatic updates switched off because they weren't updating anything and kept asking to be updated. I only just fixed that before Christmas and even now I only update it on demand. It still runs without a problem so not getting updates wont make that much of a difference
