Gents any thoughts on this problem ! Auld desk top pc just mainly for internet work and photo manipulation ! Has worked away with no hassle for the past few years then for some very strange reason the browser which is firefox ! has just crept to dead slow and i mean and slow. Tried the easy fix with system restore ! Nope ......Then uninstall the browser then re-download and install .....Nope

Ran malware nothing found ! any suggestions bar a full format

Have you tried another browser? It may be your internet connection has changed for some reason.

6.94 download speed upload less 0.5 , no fibre optics in our village.

Upload 6.15  Mbps

Problem lies with Firefox !!!

Will try another uninstall and see what happens

Your lucky you can brows anything, We have got BT operatives working outside the house and along the road fitting fibre optic cables, they broke the phone line beside a pole it took BT a month the last time the broke the cable there. Strange thing is we have no phone line bit the internet is working tonight , but very slow
