Peanuts indeed Sandy.  About the same cost to the taxpayer as one of Alex Salmond's "Homecomings" .

If he had spent that  money on  the A83 I'd bet it would have  got more folk "home"  faster and safer  too.

You could raise it with Holyrood which is where the Scottish road budget is controlled. They have just spent £1.4 Billion on the new Queensferry Crossing ..... and £50 million on the A83 in the last 8 years.

And something in the region of £700 million is being spent on the Aberdeen bypass............................. then  there was the £700 million  or so on  the  M74 extension. Lots of money available it's just a question  of what you choose to spend it on.
