just about to e-bay this; I have another "reading copy" but this one is in very good condition, cover and all pages intact and completely unmarked. it has the usual creases down the spine from being read, but has not been abused by being flattened or bent back on itself. the spine is intact and the pages are tight. in bookseller speak it'd be VG/VG+

this is the first edition paperback published at the same time as the hardback. i'm going to advertise this at £60 on e-bay, but if someone on the forum wants it they can have it for £40 posted + a £5 donation to the forum. so £45 in total

I have a large collection of fishing & mountaineering books, some of them very collectible. but I've got to a stage where i'd rather be spending the money on fishing trips than looking at them on the shelves!
