Lol I'm in agreement here, half the wee streams I fish the trout scatter if you as much as sneeze, this cast with have them bolting for the ocean.....

Fishtales

Hmmm! the first part of the cast is a Spey Cast and the second part I have used for years when there is a steep rock face behind me or I am lifting the line off the water between reeds sticking up out of the water. I call it the Wiggle Cast :)
Don't worry, be happy.
Sandy
Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.

Double spey followed by the perrypoke.

Thats the sort or arse that was fishing opposite us on the Conon in May. All that is missing is the wading up to the armpits (onto the fish) before starting the splashing.
Swish, swish catches no fish.....

Highlander

I am struggling to see the point of that cast.
