It will be hot for a few days, you'd be whining if it was cold. Yes sleeping at night is uncomfortable, hardly the end of the world.

I would just call it public information. No difference from winter snow storm warnings, and traffic warnings at St Andrews at the moment.

Public info is fine, but everything is now framed using the language of extremes and disaster you used to only hear from the nut-job climate fanatics or totalitarian states. It is now mainstream. It is a very cynical way to exploit people's fears and doubts to further a political agenda and manipulate our  behaviour.

Your spot on Fred. The mainstream media seem to be all fear mongering constantly , everything is extreme! Sick of it all. Was listening to the radio yesterday when the dj started advising how to cope, reminding us we should wear loose othing stay hydrated etc. Just play some bloody songs

And the surviving  50% will die next winter because woke "green"  energy policy and taxes  mean  they can't afford to put the heating on.
