The rivers over there were once stiff with sea trout, don't know what they are like now. I guess the remote ones out on the end of the peninsula don't get fished often as they are hard to reach. The Carnoch at the head of Loch Nevis was a known great sea trout river. I guess they are so remote there would be small chance of the adventurous angler being hampered.

It's a cracking area for sure. I've been in on three trips, one in winter and two in summer, all climbing the hills but fished one of the lochs from the Barrisdale side. As he said near the end of the video the Barrisdale side is more impressive and Barrisdale has a good bothy.
Our last club trip was a beezer, chartering a big motor yacht out of Oban, sailing to drop the 8 of us off at Barrisdale then two days later on picking us all up at Camusrory. Then sailing back to Oban and we slept on deck both ways.
He would surely have had less to carry if he was camping by water but it's a great video with that summit sunset. How much to-ing and fro-ing it must be compiling the footage!

It's well shot Sandy. Murray is a bit of a haver, but still comes across as a nice bloke. Dong video commentary is not easy, sometimes it flows and others it does not.
