Just bought Kamasan hooks from http://www.anglingclassics.co.uk/copy_of_Fly_Tying_Hooks.html

?4.00 per 100, ordered them Tuesday evening and they arrived this morning.

Hooks are not boxed but in small poly envelopes.  No choice of the usual "B" numbers, these are described as "wet fly". They also do "Shrimp/Grub/Buzzer/Caddis Hook".

Hooks look fine and survived the "ping" test in the vice.

Guys, is there anywhere that sells these hooks in lesser quantities?

I've only been tying a wee while and I'd like to build up a wee stock of different hooks but 100 at a time seems a bit much. I'd easily buy 100 or even 200 but in batches of maybe 25 or possibly 50.

So far, I've been buying the wee 25 boxes at around ?2.50 for 25.

Not the end of the world, but any info would be gratefully received.

Thanks,

Daibhidh

Best to bite the bullet and buy 100's in sizes 10, 12 & 14 as you will get round to using them.  They don't go off ...  :P :P :P

Buying them in packs of 25 for ?2.50 is not cost effective. If you look at "Members Fly Boxes" you will see the favoured "B" numbers for Kamasan hooks. I may be wrong but the ?4.00 per 100 offer is not always available.
