What internet security do you chaps use to protect your computers, at the moment I have AVG, keep getting a pop up to say I am not protected but when I go into it I find I am covered.
ESET, found it better than AGV.
i had that problem with AVG, when i contacted them they told me it was because their latest update was unable to do realtime scans because i had malware bytes also because macafee which was pre installed on my computer but never activated . the only solution was to uninstall both . but you could still run scans but there was no real time protection .looks to me like they are just out to eliminate the opposition . i will be looking elsewhere once this current subscription has finished . i ran malware bytes and AVG together for years untill this latest update.

for the last few years, I've used freeware from COMODO, no issues works away in the background, updates regularly, I'm not super savvy on these things but im perfectly happy so far.

I said it before and I'll say it again...
I think the whole internet security thing is a bloody good rip off! Nobody tries to sell you a new car with no locks or immobiliser and then tells you to buy them off some geezer down the road. Yet with computers we all roll over and cough up for stuff that ought to be on there and working from new. ****s the lot of them!
McAfee for me with no issues for the last two years, but they are still ****s!

It's only a matter of time before they get clobbered as well!

It might be closer than some think.
