Following on from the glue theme in the Glymphs and the Lazy Buzzer this is a variation on the Woolly Bugger.
Its main advantage is durability, its only disadvantage is waiting for the body to dry.
You can weight this one if you like.
Instructions assume right-handed tyers

STEP 2
Wind the thread down the body and catch in the tail. To prepare the tail, strip the marabou from the stem then moisten your fingers and roll the butts of the marabou between them.

After tying in cover the butts with thread wraps and whipfinish. Don?t worry that the body is bumpy or messy it doesn?t matter with this fly.

STEP 4
Wind the hackle through the wet E-Z Shape. Leave the hackle pliers hanging on the hackle tip until the E-Z body has cured.

By using different colours of E-Z Body you can make any number of variations. Here are just two. An Olive one with a grizzly marabou tail and a black one with a pearl E-Z Body head with a red head hackle. Have fun.
