Title: shrimp hooks
Post by: corsican dave on September 22, 2016, 03:02:49 PM
i'm coming to the end of some Drennan Shrimp hooks. they're ideal for carp flies as they're nicely shaped and a heavy gauge, which is important. unfortunately Drennan are no more (or not doing hooks) so I need a replacement. the Kamasan B110 Grubber is almost exactly the same, but they only go up to a #10. I use size #8 most regularly.
any suggestions?
I see there's a carp specific B725 Carp which looks similar, but I've not seen them in the flesh, so to speak

Dave

You can  get the b110 or its equivalent in size 8 , those hooks are sold under many brands, Hayabusa ,fulling mill ,scorpion etc.

Will try to find where I got mine at.
