Anyone going to this years fly tying fare? I went last year and will be doing so again this year. Like last year I will be travelling down to Kendal on the Saturday, staying the night with my brother and going to Stoke on the Sunday.
I really enjoyed it last year. Tyers row was superb. I spent most of my time in the fly tying theatre watching the craftsmen at work.
Very entertaining and informative.
Tip for anyone going. Organize your budget and stick to it as you could easily spend a small fortune.

Do any of the members think there is enough interest in starting a Scottish Fly Fair? I have been approached by a well known tyer who was looking to possibly stage an event in Scotland.

It would take a bit of organising but I am sure their are enough people that would be interested.
Depends on location. Central would be best.
