Title: My gnat, step-by-step
Post by: Hans on June 27, 2008, 09:25:58 PM
A fly that worked well for me in the past:
Hook:       TMC 102Y size to match the real insect.
Tail:         Black hackle fibres
Body:       Black Super-fine-dry-fly dubbing.
Wings:      2 white hackle-tips, tied upright and separated with tying thread.
Hackle:     Black cock hackle.

A wee bit of grease and the fly is ready to rock-and-roll.
Cheers, Hans
