I was looking at that too since the ''fisher in the hills'' is quite pricey. Think I'll wait till I find a bargain on that one.

I'm in a more fortunate position lately, Steve, she's so heavily pregnant that these things appear insignificant compared to the trials she's going through everyday. I think she views it as rewarding me for putting up with her hormonal ranting. Best not push it though.

Received my copy of Fisher in the Hills today. ?22.50 from an Amazon seller. Only looked just flicked through it so far, looking froward to reading it. The one thing that strikes me right away are the magnificent Illustrations.

"Fisher..." is one of my favourite books - read a library copy back in 1985, just managed to find a copy on Amazon a few weeks ago and read it again for the 2nd time - brilliant book, not hugely PC for the C&R brigade, but I respect the authors honest ethos of catching fish for necessity. Fantastic illustrations too, a real gem.
