I was a member for a few years Eric but packed up when they hiked the price last year. Was £70 which I thought was too much for the Backwater. Not so bad if you fished Lintrathen as well but that didn't interest me.

Think I will have to take a membership for Lintrathen/ Backwater, at £15 or £17 a day for the Backwater a no brainier if you are up there a few t8mes over the season.

That was bad luck! Must have been cold in that wind. I almost died of exposure when out on my bike today. I've still not been out with the rod, I just can't be bothered with the thought of it.  :(

...had half an hour at the lunan above Kinell brig...stupidly managed tae brak ma rod...lucky whte heather...nae sooner did that happen then troot started rising all aboot jist tae laugh at mi feeble efforts...lol  as they say, worse things happen at sea... :-D

I started off with the intention of tying a kate but I cant help but tinker.
