Title: Lazy Buzzer
Post by: scotfly on March 03, 2007, 08:28:15 PM
The Lazy Buzzer.Who said flytying is difficult!! It doesn?t come any simpler than this. Fish this hanging, New Zealand style, of a dry fly in the flattest of flat calms. Fish take this with the utmost confidence in the right conditions.

Instructions assume right-handed tyers.

HOOK - Kamasan B410  16-20
THREAD -Black 8/0
THORAX- UHU Glue (or similar)
STEP 1
Mount the hook in the vice, attach the thread, wind the thread down the body and back up to the point shown and apply a smear of glue to the thread.

STEP 2
Wrap the glued thread to form the thorax. Do not whipfinish, instead, lift the thread and cut under slight tension as close to the glue as you can...

The tag of thread will disappear into the glue for the finished fly.
