I have had superb sport since the start of the season for wild broonies on this one.

Tail: Glo-Brite Floss No 4
Body: Black Seals Fur
Rib: Flat Silver Tinsel
Body Hackle: Natural Black Cock
Head: Natural Roe Deer Dyed Teal Blue

Would highly recommend you tied some up.

It has been fishing it's socks of on Loch Ruthven. Dying the Deer Hair is quite a lengthy process as it does not take the dye that easy. I find using 33% accetic acid helps fix the colour better. I prefer to dye over natural roe rather than the white belly hair as it gives a softer, more varigated effect.

It's probably easier to buy et deer hair already dyed. Think I have some  blue, so I'll maybe give it a go.

How are you fishing it Gerry?
