After a three hour spell in the Allan Water today I can report that the waders work OK !!
( Actually a tiddle damp at the right knee but that is nought to do with the army boot liners and is an old leakage.)

PS.  You can also get knee high boot liners which makes for a pair of roll-up-in-your-pocket wellies

The knee high boot liners have a velcro strip overlap fastening at the top that fits just below your knee so you do not even need the bit of binder twine !! :D :D
