Part-time

I probably only use waders about half the times I go fishing and when I do it's mainly on rivers. Tend to get 4 or 5 years out of them before they get beyond repair; current Orvis Endura's now in their third season with only a few pin holes to repair so far. Carrying half a metre of foam pipe lagging helps make fence crossing safer in the worst barb wire country.

Another vote for Ocean pvc for durability if not comfort. I have some waist ones bought as an emergency purchase over 10 years ago and not one leak in them so far; I may not have worn them all that often but when they get used they get a fair bit of abuse and spend a lot of time rattling around in the back of a pickup.
