Nice fish.

I'm very happy you like the line. Loading at shorter range is precisely what it was designed to do and to do it without a heavy price tag. :D

A nice Scottish wild river brown trout caught on a new Stream Stealth line 18th April 2014

Glad you like it Bob, it's a good all-round line.

I used my Heron Grey WF floating line for the first time at the weekend. It was kinked. No surprise there as it hasn't been off the reel since I bought it a few years ago and it lies in the boot of the car summer and winter :) Although the temperature was low with an icy wind the kinks soon were cast out of it with only a few bendy bits left. I like bendy bits as they straighten out as I retrieve, so a six inch pull might only move the fly an inch or two, and keep the fly moving slowly as they retract before the next retrieve, like a spring only not as severe. I'm sure that makes the flies more attractive, doesn't make the fish hang on any better though :)
Don't worry, be happy.

It should not coil  at all Sandy, but if it has been coiled on a reel for years it might. If it does not straighten out after a few uses let me know and I'll send you another one.  :8)

Every line I have ever owned looks the same when it is used for the first time at the start of the season. It was fine after a few casts although it did feel a bit stiff because of the cold. It cast fine and lay as straight as I like it. As I said I prefer a few bendy bits, perfectly straight is something I don't need :)
