Post by: hopper on March 07, 2017, 11:20:57 PM
Been feeling sh*t from middle of last week, heavy cold, sore bits, cough, hot and cold sweats. Every one says have a hot toddy what's your best recipe

Decent malt, teaspoon of honey, squirt of lemon juice, warm (not hot) water to taste.
Repeat until all pain is gone and sleep beckons.
Do not drive or operate machinery for 24 hours.
You can trust me, I am not a doctor.

As a person who prone to the odd cauld and snottery beak I'm going to keep the recipe and try it next time round

Change from "whiskey" to "whisky".
Otherwise substitute vodka with a few drops of Angostura Bitters.

A nice Lagavulin with a dash of water does the trick for me.
