Title: campervan conversion/modernisation

hi guys looking for wee bit of input,ripping out back end of my campervan(ambulance conversion)ready for welding and was thinking of making couple of changes ie new units,change of seating different layout will post some pics later still in the early stages of redevelopment,just wondering if anyone knows best places for units etc was thinking small bathroom units with cut down worktops???????????any input appreciated :lol:

The key thing is keeping the weight down,not only for fuel consumption,but if you pull off the side of a road you could sink up to your axles.
We did an old transit in the 1970's,used wood as thin as we dare,inside the van was for tackle storage(under the beds) and sleeping.We got an awning for the toilet/cooking  and all of that was light weight camping stuff.
Depends on if it's for family use or just for wild camping.

its already kitted out burnie just thinking of making a few changes its a 7.5 tonner with a 3 litre v6 essex in it a brut of a machine :lol:

I was looking at converting the transit when it's past it's best for work but kindof canned the idea.

thanks fergie much appreciated mate,but on hold at the moment due to friday 13th,f.....d exhuast,catalitic converter on my car,set of speakers down for ma karaoke an a pc tv box knackered all in bout £600 stayin in bed for next one
