It's amazing what goes on at night in the garden - especially as we live in a village. Hedgehogs, weasel, badgers, fox, and pine martens. Plus lots of cats. One night a cat and pine marten coincided and to my surprise it was the cat that chased the pine marten off.

Good stuff Sandy. Quite a variety of species there. What do you use?  A movement activated trail-cam?

That's similar to the one  have. The solar panel is a great idea :)

It works really well even in winter. If there are a few really dull days in a row the charge gradually goes down but what I do is take it down during the day and plug it into the charger then put it back outside. Still better that replacing 8 batteries every few days :)
