September 2005 FF+FT

Well, I am always the first to moan  about magazine content (Allan says my middle names are 'moaning' and 'b@stard'), so fair?s fair, when  they are good let us  also say so. Just got this months (September issue) of FF+FT and it is superb. Only one small point though, there is a photo of a chap hold up a pike and it looks like he may have it by the gills. Assuming the fish is to be returned, is this a sensible way to handle them? Loaded with good stuff about trout fishing. Well done FF+FT keep it up, hell I might even renew my subscription on the back of it.  :lol:

That Orkney piece  was the only black spot on an otherwise  fine mag. Nothing wrong with the article, just I am jealous as f**k that I won?t get up there for a while.  :lol:
