Just  been reading through this tome.Kindly donated to me by a forum member. Thanks to Highlander.Could this book possibly be a bible for forum members?

It is indeed a bible. “Rivers and lochs”  has information on more places, but Trout Lochs tends to have more info. albeit  on fewer locations.  I seem to remember Bruce telling me he just made all that stuff up anyway.

(just kidding Bruce)

I only take seriously the chapters  where he does not mention The Peter Ross,  which, happily, is most of them.

I note with interest that no one has yet mentioned the Koran.  Wonder why?

'cos it's an even worse fly than the Peter Ross.

John

I am sitting here doing some more flies for the swap. Having read that I was about to tie a fly and call it The Koran.

Thought better of it though as I would like  to fish for at least another season before I die.

Plus, the thought of George “Garfield“ Galloway coming up here to protest dressed in a lycra leotard and imitating a cat would be too much to bear.

Well I have put a bid on it
Wish me luck :D
